About This Product

This is a double vinyl LP pressing of Skellig, the 12th studio album from singer/songwriter David Gray. Produced by Ben de Vries, this thirteen-track album departs from the shimmering electronics of 2019's Gold In A Brass Age and embraces a sparser, more communal sound. The atmospheric songs center around six-part vocals, with Gray shifting from his signature gravel to a softer tone. Recorded before the pandemic at Edwyn Collins' Helmsdale studio on the Sutherland coast, the album was further refined by de Vries and Gray during the lockdown.
