This is a vinyl LP pressing of Safe As Milk (MOV Reissue) by Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band. The American rock band originally released their debut studio album in June 1967, via Buddah Records. Produced by Richard Perry and Bob Krasnow, the heavily blues-influenced work album features a 20-year-old Ry Cooder, who played guitar and wrote some of the arrangements. The 7 bonus tracks are taken from the sessions for the unreleased 'Brown Wrapper' follow-up album. The album was included in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. It was voted number 172 in Colin Larkin's All Time Top 1000 Albums 3rd Edition (2000).
