This is a vinyl LP pressing of The Real Ambassadors by Louis Armstrong and Dave Brubeck. The Real Ambassadors features Louis Armstrong’s first and only recorded collaborations with Dave Brubeck (who also served as co-composer and conductor), singer Carmen McRae, and the legendary vocal trio of Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. Originally a Broadway play written and composed by Brubeck and his wife, Iola, The Real Ambassadors project delivered a powerful political message condemning racism while showcasing some of the most iconic voices in jazz.
