About This Product

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Just For A Day (MOV Reissue) by Slowdive. The English shoegaze band originally released their debut studio album on September 2, 1991, via Creation Records. Produced by the band members, the album was recorded at Courtyard Studios, formerly known as Georgetown Studios, in Abingdon in the Thames Valley, England.

Slowdive is one of the most prominent within the shoegaze scene, which rose to prominence in the UK during the early 1990s. The band broke up soon after the release of their third studio album in 1995. Upon Slowdive's re-formation in 2014, the band began playing to larger crowds than they did during their initial run, and members realized that they were more famous and recognisable than ever before.
