This is a red coloured vinyl LP pressing of "It's Monk's Time" by Thelonious Monk. Aptly named, this album highlights Monk's significance in the jazz world, underscored by his appearance on the cover of Time Magazine in February 1964. This essential addition to his discography features the jazz classic "Stuffy Turkey" and an impressive rendition of George Gershwin's "Nice Work If You Can Get It." Monk recorded this album with Butch Warren, Ben Riley, Charlie Rouse, and Teo Macero. It's Monk's Time is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl.
