This is a double vinyl LP pressing of Collected by Marvin Gaye. The album is a compilation of some of his most significant songs from his career with Motown, which began in 1961. The collection features early hits like "Stubborn Kind of Fellow" (1962), "Pride And Joy," and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)." It also includes his highly successful duets with Kim Weston ("It Takes Two") and Tammi Terrell. The album highlights his biggest-ever hit, "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" (1968), as well as the title track from his 1971 masterpiece, What's Going On, which is now considered one of the most important records in pop history. The collection also features tracks from his 1973 album Let's Get It On. The compilation serves as a tribute to one of the most important soul singers of all time.
