This is a vinyl LP pressing of An Evening with Billie Holiday by Billie Holiday. It features recordings from her 1952 sessions and serves as an excellent showcase of her talent and charm. Backed by tight, relaxed session musicians, with Oscar Peterson on piano for many tracks, this album captures Holiday at the peak of her abilities before health and substance abuse issues affected her voice in the late 1950s.
