This is a vinyl LP pressing of The Rolling Stones' Welcome to Shepherd's Bush. As The Rolling Stones geared up for two Wembley Stadium shows in June 1999, their first London performances in four years, they announced a surprise intimate gig at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on June 8, 1999. An audience of 1800 fortunate fans enjoyed 96 minutes of rarely heard gems. Staying true to Mick Jagger's on-stage remark, "If you want to see the hits go to the big place down the road," the band delivered deep cuts, including "Melody," performed for the first time since 1977, and "Moon Is Up," played live for the only time in their career. Sheryl Crow, who opened the show, also joined the band for "Honky Tonk Women."
