This is a 2015 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Waiting for the Sun by The Doors. The American rock band originally released their third studio album on July 3, 1968, via Elektra Records. Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, the album was recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios in Hollywood, California. Waiting for the Sun became the band's only number-one album (topping the charts for four weeks), while also including their second US number-one single, "Hello, I Love You".
