Vemuram Spiritone Char Signature Overdrive Pedal

Of the many prototypes created during the year-long development process, there were two prototypes to which Char was particularly focused. The circuits of these two are slightly different but almost similar. However, due to the differences in tuning/tweaking of the components and constants used, the “tone” and “nuances” were very different. Char himself could not decide which prototype was better until the very end. He wanted both sounds in his actual live and gigging situation; as a result, Vemuram decided to integrate two sounds/tones into one luxurious unit. The first sound/tone has a vintage tone and feel, while the second channel, the B-channel (bright channel), is brighter, aggressive, and powerful with a punchier attack. Each has its own LEVEL (volume) controls and allows you to go back and forth between the two with the foot switch controls.
