This is a CD pressing of Tonight’s The Night by Neil Young, 50th Anniversary Edition. Originally recorded in 1973 and released in 1975, the album is widely regarded as one of Young’s masterpieces, dedicated to his late friends Danny Whitten and Bruce Berry. Capturing raw emotion on analog tape, it features standout tracks like “Borrowed Tune,” “World on a String,” “Mellow My Mind,” “Tired Eyes,” “Come On Baby Let’s Go Downtown,” “Albuquerque,” and “Roll Another Number (For the Road),” along with two versions of the title track. The 50th Anniversary Edition expands the album with six additional songs, including previously unreleased takes of “Walk On” and “Tonight’s The Night [Take 3],” and replaces “Lookout Joe” with an unreleased version from the original 1973 SIR Studios sessions, offering fans a deeper, more intimate look into this iconic work.
