This is a vinyl LP pressing of The Unforgettable Fire (EU 25th Anniversary Edition) by U2. The Irish Grammy-winner rock band originally released their fourth studio album on October 1, 1984, via Island Records. Produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, the album was recorded in May 1984 at Slane Castle, where the band lived, wrote, and recorded to find new inspiration. As a result, the album features more experimentation with a more ambient and atmospheric sound. "The Unforgettable Fire" was released as the second single in April 1985. The song became the band's third Top 10 hit in the UK, reaching number six on the UK Singles Chart and number 8 on the Dutch singles chart, but did not perform as well in the U.S.
