About This Product

This is a limited edition 2022 reissue purple coloured vinyl LP pressing of The Amazing Nina Simone by Nina Simone. The American jazz composer and pianist originally released her studio album in 1959, through Colpix Records. Produced by Hecky Krasnow, the album features a variety of material, including jazz, gospel, and folk songs. Simone was the recipient of a Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 2000 for her interpretation of "I Loves You, Porgy". Simone was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
