Originally released in 1960 on Riverside Records, That’s My Story captures Hooker in a raw, stripped-down setting that leans into a traditional country blues sound. Featuring acoustic performances on tracks like I Need Some Money and No More Doggin', the album highlights his distinctive style and mastery of the genre. This edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings (QRP) and features AAA remastering from the original tapes, cut by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab.
