About This Product
Within the Taylor 814ce Special Edition Blacktop, the classic tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce retains its hallmark fusion of warmth, low-end resonance, and high-range brilliance, now elevated by the transformative V-Class bracing. With extended note sustain, the rich overtones of rosewood blossom with unprecedented clarity, while the advanced bracing enhances power and tunefulness across the tonal spectrum, delivering a sound that is both lush and expressive. Exclusive features encompass a radius-style rosewood armrest and smoked nickel tuners, complementing the 800 Series standard appointments like a smoky ebony fretboard sourced from Taylor’s Crelicam mill in Cameroon, maple binding, rosewood edge trim, an abalone rosette edged with rosewood, and mother-of-pearl Element fretboard and peghead inlays. The 814ce also incorporates a Venetian cutaway, ES2 acoustic electronics, and is presented in a deluxe hardshell case.
