This 2025 reissue double vinyl LP pressing of The Smashing Pumpkins' influential second album, Siamese Dream, originally produced by Butch Vig and Billy Corgan, showcases their meticulous "wall of sound" approach achieved through as many as 32 guitar tracks, painstakingly compiled from challenging recording sessions marked by personal struggles within the band. Despite the fraught atmosphere, the album garnered critical acclaim upon its 1993 release, debuting in the Billboard top 10 and propelling the group to mainstream success, eventually achieving 4x platinum certification and solidifying its place as a defining alt-rock record of its era.
