The Seymour Duncan ’78 Model Humbucker captures the spirit of late-70s hot-rodded P.A.F. tone, inspired by Seymour Duncan’s early custom rewind work for Eddie Van Halen. Featuring an Alnico 2 magnet and vintage-style hot windspecifications, it delivers warm crunch, rich harmonics, articulate lead response, and expressive sustain ideal for classic hard rock and high-performance playing. Designed for dynamic rhythm tones, tapped harmonics, and fluid solo work, the ’78 Model offers a perfect balance of vintage character and aggressive edge for players chasing iconic rock tones.
