The Sela Kalimba 17 Black Walnut has a solid body made of black walnut wood. The very dark, fine-grained wood, combined with the straight shape of the instrument, creates a classy, elegant look. In addition, walnut wood has excellent tonal qualities with subtle basses, powerful mids and clear highs.

The 17 notes of the Sela Kalimba 17 Black Walnut are all on the C major scale, ranging from the note C4 to E6.
