As with all HHX Complex cymbals, the Complex Medium Rides are created using a combination of HHX and HH hammering, which results in a rich, dark sound quality. The Hand-Hammered raw bell adds to the complexity and lows. The added weight compared to the HHX Complex Thin Ride, gives somewhat more articulation and control to the stick sound.
