This is a vinyl LP pressing of Promise by Sade, the band's acclaimed second album originally released in 1985. Featuring classic tracks such as “The Sweetest Taboo,” “Is It a Crime?,” and “Never As Good As the First Time,” the album showcases Sade’s signature blend of smooth soul, jazz, and sophisti-pop. This edition has been remastered at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios using high-resolution transfers from the original stereo master tapes, delivering exceptional clarity and detail while preserving the warmth and dynamic range of the original recordings. Pressed on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl, it also faithfully reproduces the original album artwork and packaging for an authentic listening experience.
