About This Product
Everyone knows just how good MEINL's aluminum surdos are, but the Wood version is on a whole new level. This 16" Traditional Wood Surdo replaces the aluminum with a wooden shell for a warmer, more soulful sound profile that's defined by full, rounded bass notes, the same which sit at the heart of traditional Samba music. With 8 tuning lugs and height adjustable legs, this surdo is perfect for stationary playing, whether it's on stage or in a drum circle. This models comes with two head options and a tuning key

Yes! All orders come with warranty for a year from the date of purchase once you've registered your order details in your Swee Lee account. Log in to Swee Lee with your BandLab account and get another 6 months of complimentary warranty.
Can I test an item before buying it?
Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
