The Rebolo is a Brazilian drum used in Pagode and other traditional styles. The drum is played horizontally in the seated position with one hand playing the main rhythms on the drum head and the other hand playing counter rhythms by striking the shell. This MEINL 12 x 18 inch model has a warm, deep tone and it comes with lightweight poplar wood shell, a replacable Napa head, chrome plated hardware including strong hooks to carry it on a belt and mechanical lug tuning (tuning key included).
