About This Product
The cajon has become one of the most popular percussion instruments around in recent years, and now you can build your own MEINL cajon with this do-it-yourself kit. The Birch Wood body produces deep bass, cutting slaps, and an overall focused tone. Two sets of internal snare wires are designed to brush against the inside of the playing surface to give the finished instrument a crisp sound, while the Bubinga frontplate adds rich sonic and visual texture. The instruction manual will guide you step-by-step through the assembly process and lists the tools needed for the build. Your finished MEINL cajon will measure 18" tall x 11 3/4" wide x 11 3/4" deep with a pre-cut sound port.
Can I pre-order an item if it’s currently unavailable?

Does my order come with a warranty?
Yes! All orders come with warranty for a year from the date of purchase once you've registered your order details in your Swee Lee account. Log in to Swee Lee with your BandLab account and get another 6 months of complimentary warranty.
Can I test an item before buying it?
Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
Will my order come with any accessories?
