Ibanez introduced the SR1356B for 2023, which is an electric bass model belonging to their Soundgear series. This six-string solid body bass was manufactured in Indonesia as a part of Ibanez's mid-tier Premium line.
The SR1356B is equipped with a walnut top and a panga panga strip along the centre. Its body is made of African mahogany and features a double-cutaway design. The neck is an Atlas neck made of panga panga with titanium reinforcement. The fingerboard is made of panga panga as well, with binding and abalone oval position markers. The bass is fitted with Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups and an Ibanez custom preamp featuring a three-band EQ. It has Mono-rail bridges with 16.5mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, and Gotoh tuning machine.
