In late 2023, Ibanez unveiled the IC420FM, a distinctive entry in the Iceman series, artfully crafted in China. Recognized as IC420FMGB, this model gained further allure as a limited edition, exclusively available in the Japanese market. The IC420FM features an Okoume body with a flamed maple top and binding mated to an Okoume set-in neck with a 24-fret bound jatoba fingerboard with binding and acrylic abalone parallelogram inlays. Components include a Gibraltar performer fixed bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece and dual Super 80 passive/ceramic humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, and gold hardware.
