Ibanez introduced the EHB1500 in 2020, a solid-body electric bass from the EHB series. Crafted in Indonesia, it is part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line. The EHB1500 boasts an ergonomic chambered body design with a distinctive double cutaway, prominent upper horn, and deep lower scoop, ensuring comfort for both seated and standing play. Featuring a headless design, it incorporates a poplar burl top on a chambered African mahogany body, paired with a graphite-reinforced roasted panga panga and walnut neck. The panga panga fingerboard hosts 24 stainless steel frets, abalone dot markers, and luminescent side dots. Notable components include Monorail V HS bridges, Nordstrand Custom Big Split pickups, a detachable finger ramp, Vari-mid 3-band EQ with EQ bypass, a locking Neutrik output jack, and Schaller S-Lock strap pins.
