The Ibanez BTB866SC, introduced in 2022, is a six-string solid-body electric bass from the BTB series, crafted in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.

The BTB866SC showcases neck-through-body construction with an ash top and ash back on Okoume wings. Its maple and walnut neck supports a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The bass features a single cutaway design with a prominent upper bout and a narrow, curving lower horn. Noteworthy components include Bartolini BH2 passive pickups, an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets (including a zero fret), a matching top finger ramp, and individually mounted Mono-rail V bridges with 19mm string spacing.
