The Vintage Select Edition guitar pays homage to the golden age of Gretsch in the 1950s and early 1960s, capturing the essence of that prolific period in musical instrument history. The G6128T-53 Vintage Select '53 DuoJet™, equipped with a Bigsby®, skillfully recreates one of Gretsch's initial and cherished models, the Duo Jet, which debuted as the brand's flagship in 1953. The chambered mahogany body structure, resonating the gap between the top and body, contributes to the power and punch of its characteristic sound, amplifying harmonic richness and achieving a clear tone. This model faithfully reproduces Gretsch's vintage "script" headstock logo, along with special features like the vintage Dyna Sonic™ sound and 2 TV Jones® T-Armond™ pickups, making it a standout choice for players who appreciate the best in Gretsch tradition.
