A devoted telecaster enthusiast alongside his iconic Fiesta Red Stratocaster, Yamauchi meticulously crafted this model to encapsulate an ideal guitar that seamlessly merges the best qualities of both. The ash body, adorned with a white satin finish, showcases a unique thin-line structure, hollowing out the left and right while leaving the centre intact. This design, coupled with the CuNiFe® Wide Range Humbucker on the original aluminium machined escutcheon, produces a rich and warm tone. Yamauchi's attention to detail extends to the bridge position, mirroring the specifications of his cherished 54-year-old telecaster and enhanced with a Custom Wired Vintage Style Single Coil for a more robust tone. Emphasizing the telecaster's bridge structure, the bridge is boldly affixed to the Stratocaster, facilitating a more direct transmission of string vibrations to the pickup. The neck grip, inspired by the 54-year-old telecaster, strikes a balance between thickness and comfort by narrowing the nut width.
