About This Product

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Elvis Is Back! by Elvis Presley. On March 24, 1958, Elvis Presley entered the U.S. Army, serving until March 1960. Upon returning to civilian life, there was immense pressure on him to deliver—RCA had already ordered an initial pressing of one million copies of his first “comeback” single before the songs were even selected, let alone recorded. In March 1960, he entered the RCA recording studio in Nashville, resulting in the sessions that produced the Elvis Is Back! album.
