About This Product

This is a double vinyl LP pressing of Elasticity by Serj Tankian. The Armenian-American singer-songwriter and record producer released his first EP on March 19, 2021, through BMG. With his trademark eclecticism and one-of-a-kind vocal style, Serj delivers, Elasticity, a five song EP that runs the gamut from hard-driving, electronically enhanced anthems like the title track to rallying cries for his beloved Armenia ("Electric Yerevan") to the tongue-in-cheek political mash-up of "Your Mom." Elasticity is comprised of songs originally intended for System Of A Down. But it didn't quite work out that way. The EP will delight fans of System who have waited a long time for new music.

Tankian is regarded as one of the best vocalists in heavy metal, with praise given to his unusual delivery and his wide vocal range. In 2006, he was ranked No. 26 on the Hit Parader list of "Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists".
