This is a CD pressing of Drones by Muse, the band’s seventh studio album. Co-produced by Muse and Robert John “Mutt” Lange, the album features 12 tracks, including the single “Dead Inside.” Frontman Matt Bellamy describes Drones as a concept exploring “metaphorical psychopaths” who enable destructive behavior without accountability, following a human journey from abandonment and loss of hope, to indoctrination as a human drone, and ultimately to defection from oppressive forces. Muse have sold over 17 million albums worldwide, and their 2012 album The 2nd Law topped the charts in 21 countries, including the UK.
