About This Product
The DP819 D-Activator from DiMarzio is a humbucker designed especially for the neck position of 8 string guitars. It has a powerful and open sound with excellent harmonics and tons of headroom. It responds extremely well to pick attack, and there is practically no muddying up on the low strings. With a wide frequency response, the DP819 very articulate and dynamic. It maintains this sonic character even at very high gain settings, yet it's also bright and clear with clean amp settings.
