About This Product
DiMarzio Model One Bass Humbucker Pickup has since moved on from its original conception as a direct replacement for Gibson EB series neck pickups, musicians finding that its most ideal use is as a woofer/tweeter multi-pickup bass setups. This makes it an invaluable piece of the puzzle, especially when combined with Split P, DiMarzio Model P or DiMarzio Model J pickups, builds which allow musicians to transform their bass into a woofer/tweeter setup with tight and precise onboard control of sonic extremes.
The implications of this are unparalleled, resulting in sound which is powerful enough to move mountains when dipping into those earthy, clean lows and crispy, transcending highs that are imbued with great strength. These are especially apparent by sending the Model One to a rig with an 18" speaker cabinet and plugging the other pickup's output into your regular gear.
