This is a mono reissue vinyl LP pressing of December's Children (And Everybody's) by The Rolling Stones. As the last album where cover material made up 50% of the content, this collection was assembled from a mix of singles, British LP tracks, outtakes, and a cut from an early 1964 U.K. EP. Despite its haphazard assembly, the album features standout tracks such as the hit "Get Off of My Cloud" and the controversial, string-laden acoustic ballad "As Tears Go By," which reached the Top Ten in America. The album includes a final dive into R&B with a lively rendition of Larry Williams' "She Said Yeah," a sultry Chuck Berry cover in "Talkin' About You," and energetic live versions of "Route 66" and Hank Snow's "I'm Moving On." Notably, Jagger-Richards' songwriting partnership had grown stronger, with non-A-side tracks like "I'm Free" and "The Singer Not the Song" standing out. The version of "You Better Move On," featured on a British EP earlier in 1964, remains one of their most tender soul covers.
