About this product

Jeff Berlin is known as one of the greatest bass players in the world and is also considered one of the finest clinicians in music. Cort Guitars has collaborated with Jeff on the Jeff Berlin bass since 2014. The Rithimic Series continues this collaboration with the same balance between vintage-inspired simplicity of design and modern tweaks and appointments to meet the needs of today's players.

This 5 string bass features a custom designed Alder body with a beautiful Walnut Burl top. The bass is powered by a pair of Bartolini Jeff Berlin custom soapbar pickups with passive electronics and one volume control, one balance control, one tone control. These pickups produce warm, deep tones with a piano-like low end. The hard rock maple neck is complemented with a rosewood fingerboard. All gold hardware includes a Babicz Full Contact Hardware Bridge and Hipshot Ultralight tuners.
