About This Product
This is a vinyl LP pressing of Contra (EU Press) by Vampire Weekend. The American rock/indie-pop band originally released their second studio album on January 11, 2010, via XL Recordings. Produced by Rostam Batmanglij, the album sold 124,000 copies in its first week and was awarded Gold by the RIAA on November 21, 2011, which means it has sold over 500,000 units in the US alone. It was recognized as one of The 100 Best Albums of the Decade So Far by Pitchfork in August 2014.
