A deep record collector, he has put his hometown of Bandung, Indonesia on the map with a relentless output of self-released edits drawing on Indonesian funk, Chinese pop, and Middle Eastern psych as source material over the last several years. Equally skilled as a producer, Munir’s signature boogie-funk sounds have graced labels such as Neon Finger, Shaken Palms, and No Bad Days. We’re pleased to unleash Munir’s sounds on Darker Than Wax once again, with a strong sonic step forward from the artist and perhaps his most polished work yet - ‘Circuit Line’.
