About This Product

This is a green moss vinyl LP pressing of works by Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Franz Liszt, performed by Vladimir Horowitz. Recorded in New York City during the spring of 1962, this release showcases some of the most powerful and poetic piano works of the Romantic era. Side A features Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2, performed with remarkable drama, beauty, and intensity, while Side B includes two of Rachmaninoff’s Études-Tableaux, Schumann’s delicate Arabesque, and Liszt’s fiery Hungarian Rhapsody No. 19.
