This is a 2017 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Boston self-titled. The American rock band originally released their debut studio album on August 25, 1976, via Epic Records. Produced by John Boylan and Tom Scholz, Scholz began crafting and recording demos in his apartment's basement, collaborating with singer Brad Delp, alongside a roster of musicians who contributed to the album, including drummers Jim Masdea and Sib Hashian, guitarist Barry Goudreau, and bassist Fran Sheehan. The album is often referred to as a staple in '70s rock and has been included on many lists of essential albums. It has sold at least 17 million copies in the United States alone and at least 20 million worldwide making it one of the best-selling debut albums of all time.
