Introduced by Ibanez in 2014, the KIKO100 stands as a signature guitar for Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro, known for his contributions to metal bands Angra and Megadeth. Crafted in Japan by FujiGen, the KIKO100, part of the S series, features a thicker body with a flat back and a unique relief on the lower horn in the rear. Constructed with an alder body and flamed maple top, this electric guitar showcases a tilt-positioned jack on the side, a departure from the standard face placement seen in typical S series guitars. Boasting custom DiMarzio pickups, including humbuckers with coil-split functionality and a single-coil, the KIKO100's distinct neck has a rounder profile than the traditional Ibanez Wizard, flaunting 24 frets with the last four scalloped. The guitar is equipped with an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, and a rosewood fingerboard adorned with a special abalone inlay on the 12th fret, inspired by native Brazilian designs.
