Introduced in 2022, the BTB805MS is a five-string multi-scale BTB series solid body electric bass model by Ibanez. Made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line, the BTB805MS features neck-through-body construction with a poplar burl top and okoume back on ash wings attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of T1 passive Humbucking pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, a finger ramp which matches the top, Mono-rail bridges with 18mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
