This is a 2018 reissue vinyl LP pressing of A Foot in the Door (The Best of Pink Floyd) by Pink Floyd. The English rock band originally released their hits compilation album on November 7, 2011, via EMI Records. Produced by the band members, the album was released as part of the Why Pink Floyd...? 2011–12 remastering campaign.

Pink Floyd was founded in 1965 by Syd Barrett (guitar, lead vocals), Nick Mason (drums), Roger Waters (bass guitar, vocals) and Richard Wright (keyboards, vocals). Pink Floyd had sold more than 250 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists and cited by some as the greatest progressive rock band of all time.
