About This Product

This is a 2016 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Prince self-titled. The American Grammy-winner singer-songwriter originally released his second studio album on October 19, 1979, via Warner Bros Records. Written, arranged, composed, produced and performed entirely by Prince, the album was regarded as more diverse and performed better critically and commercially. Prince peaked at 22 on the Billboard 200 and number three on the Billboard R&B Chart. Prince was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) four months after its release.
