This is a 2009 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk. The German electronic music group originally released their sixth studio album in March 1977, through the Kling Klang record label. Produced by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, the group began the album recording session in mid-1976 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The album features a refined melodic electronic style, with a focus on sequenced rhythms, minimalism, and occasional manipulated vocals. Trans-Europe Express charted at 119 on the American charts and was ranked number 30 in The Village Voice's 1977 Pazz & Jop critics' poll.
