This is a vinyl LP pressing of Spontaneous Inventions by Bobby McFerrin. The American folk-jazz vocalist originally released his live album in 1986, through Blue Note Records. Originally produced by Linda Goldstein and McFerring himself, this 1986 live album is reissued as part of an overall Blue Note 75th-anniversary vinyl initiative spearheaded by current Blue Note Records President, Don Was. This album features special guests Robin Williams and Herbie Hancock. Spontaneous Inventions reached number 103 on the Billboard 200, number 62 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart, number 6 on the Top Jazz Albums chart, and number 2 on the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart.
