This is a vinyl LP pressing of Groovin At Smalls Paradise by Jimmy Smith. The American jazz organist originally released in live album in 1957, through Blue Note Records. Produced by Alfre Lion, the album features performances of Smith and a Hammond B3 organ, recorded at Smalls' Paradise in New York City in 1957. In 2005, Smith was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters Award from the National Endowment for the Arts, the highest honor that America bestows upon jazz musicians.
