The Epiphone Embassy PRO Bass is inspired by the rare 60s classic and commemorates the 60th anniversary of Epiphone becoming a proud member of the Gibson Family. The Epiphone Embassy Pro Bass proudly pays tribute to original the Embassy basses of the 1960s.
As an update to the 2004 Embassy models, this Embassy Pro has improved balance and looks, with a 2-per-side headstock and an extended upper horn. It oozes vintage vibe and is loaded with a pair of ProBucker 760 bass pickups that give you sound and performance reminiscent of the original Gibson mid-1960s Thunderbird pickups, as well as cool original barrel-style knobs for bridge volume, neck volume, and master tone. Improved hardware on the Embassy PRO includes a Tune-o-matic bridge and a 1960s-inspired “claw” tailpiece. With its solid mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, this bass has a rich, thumpy, warm low end and smooth playability.
