This is a 2021 limited reissue vinyl LP pressing of Bass On Top by Paul Chambers. Bass on Top is the third studio album by American jazz bassist Paul Chambers recorded in 1957 and released on the Blue Note label in October 1957. The album features Hank Jones (piano), Kenny Burrell (guitar) and Art Taylor (drums). The album also includes a chamber-jazz interpretation of Jerome Kern's "Yesterdays" & a swinging version of "Dear Old Stockholm," a tune often associated w/ Miles Davis.
