This is a double vinyl LP pressing of American Idiot by Greenday. The American punk rock trio released the group seventh studio album on September 21, 2004, under Reprise Records. Produced by Rob Cavallo in collaboration with Greenday, the album was recorded at Studio 880 in Oakland and Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood between 2003 - 2004. American Idiot became one of the most anticipated releases of 2004. It has sold over 16 million copies worldwide, making it the second best-selling album for the band and one of the best-selling albums of the decade. It was later certified 6× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2013. It was nominated for Album of the Year and won the Award for Best Rock Album at the 2005 Grammy Awards.
